01/05/2001 Gaming Internet signs content distribution deal with Sky Channel Australia
Cornering 25 percent of the global racing content market with its latest deal, Gaming Internet has agreed a content distribution deal with Australia?s Sky Channel for its 24-hour greyhound racing service over the Internet, idTV and wireless.
The three-year deal requires Sky Channel, a wholly owned subsidiary of TAB Limited, to provide a minimum of 880 races to gobarkingmad. Gobarkingmad, for its part, has already agreed five year exclusive licenses with 31 greyhound tracks across the globe.
Arthur Cooper, MD of gobarkingmad, promises users live betting every five minutes as it increases its race inventory from 85,000 over 100,000 races each year.
Gaming Internet is currently preparing for the UK launch of its idTV greyhound racing service next month.
